What if I move?

If your current carrier is in your new area, then you can tranfser over. If not, you may have to get a new cell phone that will work with whichever carrier is in the new area.

Why isn't my phone working?

Second, make sure the area you are calling from provides cellular coverage and a good cellular signal. Third, make sure you are dialing correctly. Ongoing technical problems can indicate a problem with your phone equipment. If a problem persists, contact the dealer who activated your service to request a diagnostic check. Most equipment manufacturers offer a 12-month warranty from date of purchase. If you have just received your phone and need to activate, please follow the instructions enclosed with your shipment.

Why must I purchase certain phones with particular rate plans or features?

Different types of equipment provide programming that enables the phone to roam and take advantage of the national rates pricing. This programming sets your phone to preferred roaming service providers as you roam. Certain features (such as Wireless Internet service) are supported only by certain phone models.

The price of your phone includes your phone, the battery and a charger for the battery. Some of our promotional offerings may include additional accessories.

Which accessories do I need to purchase?

You are not required to purchase any additional accessories for your phone. You may want to consider purchasing an ear piece or hands-free car kit to make the use of your phone safer and more convenient.

How long will my battery last between charges?

The amount of stand-by and talk-time for your battery is dependent upon the type of phone you purchase. Most phone models come with a Nickel Metal Hydride battery. You may also purchase an additional battery that may have an extended talk time. We recommend a Lithium Ion batter for extended talk-time needs.
